thorXtri 2027 - 50 Athletes ONLY

One Epic Challenge - 14 AUG 2027

Set amongst the mountains and fjords of Southwestern Norway, thorXtri is an extreme half-distance triathlon limited to just 50 athletes. The adventure begins with a chilly 1,800-metre fjord swim, followed by 90 km of winding mountain roads, starting with the well-known Lysebotn climb, featuring 27 hairpin bends as you climb from the fjord towards the mountain plateau.

Then comes the real challenge: a 20 km technical run across rocky mountain terrain and dramatic cliff edges, taking you to the world-famous Kjeragbolten, a boulder suspended nearly 1,000 metres above Lysefjorden, before finishing at the iconic Eagle's Nest.

The views are breathtaking, but don't let them distract you. This course demands strength, determination and mental fortitude.
