Energy stations:
There are 2 aid stations on the course on at Eagles Nest which is the same site as T2 and Finishline, and one at Håhellervatnet. Between you are on your own. We recommend you bring a refoldable cup or water bladder as you can refill from creeks and small running rivers you find along the course.
Cut-Offs:
To make thorXtri safe for athletes and volunteers we have 2 cut-offs:
1) You need to have completed the swim course before 06:15 CET
2) You need to have completed the bike course before 13:00 CET
If you arrive after this time, you will be taken out of the race at that point. This is for safety on the narrow roads (after the swim) and to ensure we get all athletes off the mountain before it gets dark (after bike).
Bagdrop from T1 to T2:
You need to hand in your run gear inside a backpack before racking your bike at T1.This backpack need to be large enough to include all your mandatory run gear and shoes. It need to be marked with your bib and we will give it to you after you are finished with your bike leg. At T2 you will also be provided a plastic bag for all of your run gear, this back we will bring back to the turist cabin after you have finished your race.
Transport down the hill from finishline to Lysebotn
You will need to ride your bike down to Lysebotn after the race. If you have a spectator, you can, of course, catch a ride from that person or get a lift from someones spectator. With up to 90 athletes, we can unfortunately not provide or guarantee you seat in a car down the hill.
